Jess Cruger began her photography journey in 2014, sparked by a passion for both art and science — and a deep desire to explore the world through a new lens. From the start, Jess has focused on themes of body positivity, self-exploration, and authentic expression.

Her camera has taken her on a wild adventure, from collaborating with the fire arts community to being published in creative and alternative spaces that celebrate individuality. Much of her work is rooted in communities that embrace radical self-expression, and Jess approaches every shoot with empathy, intention, and curiosity.

Photography, for Jess, is about connection — with people, with place, and with the self. It’s a practice that brings confidence, creativity, and a sense of wonder. Most recently, she has expanded her skills to include real estate photography, merging her artistic eye with a keen attention to detail and storytelling.
